Shichon Puppy Breeder Shichon Puppies

Meet Lucy, Lucy came to us as a rescue dog with two puppies. She is seven years old and had been bred (way too old for that), she began delivering her puppies one night, she had the first puppy around midnight, a cute little black and white male, she delivered him with no assistance, however she then began to have trouble, she couldn't deliver the next puppy, she was left until the morning when my Vet's office opened where she was taken with her one puppy. Upon examination the Vet said the next puppy was too large for her to deliver, she would need a Csection, there were still two puppies inside her. The owner then instructed the Vet to euthanize Mom and babies because she wasn't going to have any part of Csections and puppies. Luckily for Lucy the Vet refused to do this, she had the person sign the dog and puppies over to the Vet clinic. The Vet and staff then all volunteered their time and services to do the Csection and to try and save the remaining puppies. There were able to save one. So here was Lucy with two little babies and no home. We happened to be at the Vet's office ourselves that day so we volunteered to bring her home and raise her puppies and find them the best homes. One of the girls at the Vet's office kept Lucy and her babies for the first week making sure they were healthy and doing well. The puppies have been name Marshall and Tudor after Dr's Tanya Marshall and Jamie Tudor, the two vets that saved their lives. Marshall and Tudor have been adopted by a great family where they will get to play and live together and their Mom, Lucy has been adopted by a previous MollyDog family. What a great ending to what could have been such a sad story. Please spay and/or neuter your dog, as you can see from the above story things do not always go well and when you take on the responsibility of breeding you should be prepared for the best and the worst situations, if not, then don't do it.
