Now the fun thing is we have Brook's puppies that will be ready for new homes at Christmas! This is one of our cuties from last Christmas!
Yes, Brook's puppies will be 8 weeks old on Christmas Day. Of course, we can't have puppies going home that day to all the craziness that is Christmas morning, but those families will be able to pick their puppy up right after Christmas and so have lots of fun with them then.
Emma will also be having her puppies very soon. We are currently taking names for those puppies, so contact us right away if you are interested in being on our waiting list.
September 9 ~ Well after a very quiet summer on the puppy front we are heading into a busy fall. Kat has had her puppies, here is a shot of little Kasper at 1 week old.

Kasper
Next having puppies will be Zoe, she is due around the last few days of September into the first week in October. First time Mom Maddie is next, we are so excited to see her very first babies. :) and then we have Emma due in early November. Please contact us right away to get on our waiting list for these gorgeous new little MollyDogs!
We are heading into fall, what a gorgeous summer it has been. We got off to a wet start with flooding this spring but things quickly dried up and it has been hot, hot, hot since then. Even now we are still breaking heat records for this time of year. We are enjoying every minute of it because before you know it we will be heading into the dreaded "w" time of year, yes that's right. I don't want to say the word "winter", it's so cold on the paws, you know what I mean. ;)
If you have any great pics of your MollyDog out enjoying summer send them along as we will be updating our Happy Tails page soon.
Oh, and if you're having a stressful time, do what a dog does ~
If you can't play with it or eat it, pee on it and walk away!
'Til next time,
Live, Laugh, Bark!

July 22
~ Wow, we have been busy at MollyDogs to say the least. Pepsi and Bridget's puppies have kept us on our paws for the last few weeks. We updated their pictures today, they have grown so much and will be leaving us soon to join their new families. What a happy and exciting time for their new families. :) We wish them all the best!
We were excited last week to have our Max and Rocky (retired boys) come and visit us, it was so great to see them and have a chance to catch up with their new family. We have also heard from Jackson's family, Mason's family, and Tawny's family, oh and Kristi's also. All the dogs are doing great in their new homes and have adapted well. How lucky are they to have found such great families!

Me an my besties, Hanna and Gabby.
We have such a "ruff" life :)
It has been quite the summer here with lots of crazy storms, lots of rain and then lots of heat. But hey, it's better than -20 right?? It's all about perspective. :) We hope you are having fabulous summer weather where you are. Don't forget to send us pictures of your MollyDog out enjoying summer for our next update of the Happy Tails page, we love seeing them.
'Til then,
Live, Laugh, Bark!

May 19 ~ Well the very first thing we have to do is say hello to Mrs. DiCaprio's 4th and 3rd grade classrooms in California. "HELLO!" Children :) We are so happy to hear you are using our website and learning so much. We are very proud that you refer to our site so often. We love hearing about what you were doing.
The latest MollyDog news is that Cleo has had her very first batch of MollyDogs. She has two beautiful little girls that were born on May 15th, Mom and babies are doing well. Check out their pictures, so sweet. Newborn puppies are just adorable. :)
We are also getting ready for a big event in the family, Kevin and Dianne's son Danny is about to be married so the family is getting pretty excited about the upcoming nuptials. What a happy time.
We have also started a new facebook page simply entitled "MollyDogs" so look it up and LIKE our page in order to be able to view the photos and make comments. If you already have a MollyDog you can post updates and photos for us to see. We always love hearing how our puppies are doing.
And finally, I (Molly) turned 10 this month! Wow, where has the time gone! And look at what I started, it's been "woof"underful!

April 7 ~ Wow, has spring finally sprung?? We sure hope so, we are looking forward to all these big snow banks melting and running away for the year, what a winter its been here! So nice to see the sunshining and know that the flowers will soon be blooming and all the little birds that flew away for the winter will be returning soon.
Our little puppy packs are all growing and getting bigger by the day. Their tails are wagging and they have so much to tell us. They are busy working on pack order, who gets to the food dish first, who gets the best toy, who gets the best sleeping position, on and on it goes as they learn all about being dogs and part of a pack. This early learning makes them great members of the family once they join their new human packs. Moms are busy disciplining them as well at this stage, their time with her right now is extremely valuable. Before we know it, it will be time for them to leave us.
With Easter arriving soon be careful to watch what falls on the floor, chocolate can be very dangerous for little puppies/dogs to get into. Also did you know that the plant Easter Lily is fatal for dogs? So be sure if you have one to keep it up high where no sniffing or licking can go on :). We wish you a blessed Easter holiday.

March 17 ~ Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone! May you have: A world of wishes at your command. God and his angels close to hand. Friends and family their love impart, and Irish blessings in your heart!
Live, Laugh, Bark

March 8 ~ Wow, has it been crazy here for the past ten days with all of our newest little MollyDogs arriving. We have so many beautiful puppies right now with a great variety of sizes, colours and soon will have the pitter patter of many little paws running around playing and wrestling. This should make for some great video and photos! :) We are happy to report that all the Moms and babies are doing so well. Chanel and Emma had quite a few puppies each but they are bigger than our average size and are handling their puppies very well and are great first time Moms.
Did you know that you could take a dog first aid course? Yes, you can learn CPR for your dog, the Heimlich maneuver, how to give artificial respiration, taking temperatures, the proper way to give pills, etc. What a great resource. These are usually available through your local SPCA or similar type organization. Your dog will thank you for it! Locally it is available through our Humane Society if anyone is interested.
With spring fast approaching (fingers crossed) it will be time to start taking all the winter coats off the dogs. It's always fun to watch them race around outside once they get their new haircut, I'm sure it feels good to them to have their winter coat gone. Dianne, get the clippers ready! :)
Live, Laugh, Bark

February 14 ~ Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! Hope you are spending it with your four legged loved ones :). Only a short while until spring arrives!! Yay! Although I must say we have been having lots of fun on all the snow hills, playing and chasing each other up and down them. Check out the pictures Dianne put on the MollyDogs page in the Photo Album section. Lots of the new MollyDogs Moms and Dads are on the page so you will get a sneak preview of all the cute puppies to come!
Speaking of new puppies coming, it's going to be puppy palooza here in the next few weeks as we have new puppies arriving beginning at the end of Feb. and into the first week or so of March. Standards and mini's are expected so if you are looking for a spring puppy better get in touch with us soon. :) We have new moms, Lola, Chanel, Emma all about to have their very first batches and Annie and Tawny are about to have their second batch of new babies. We are very excited to welcome each and every new little furry baby. :) The new arrivals will be announced in the puppy section of the website.
Have a "woof"underful Valentine's Day!

January 17 ~ Wow, baby it's cold outside!! We have so much snow here this year! It's incredible. We have drifts so high they are over Dianne's head. Of course for me and the other dogs we are loving it, we get to play and chase each other up and over the snow drifts, roll in the snow. Hanna especially loves to play in the snow, she puts her face in the snow and runs like a little snow plough! She comes up covered in snow and being that she is a black dog she looks really funny, like she has a white beard or something! Our puppies are all finding great homes and we are so excited for their new families ~ what beautiful little puppies they are getting. We have lots of new spring puppies on the way so contact us soon if you are interested so you can get on our waiting list. The nice thing is if you get one of these upcoming puppies they will be done their shots by summer and will be able to go out and about with your family as they will be fully protected because, as you know (we all know this right??), until the vaccinations are completed at 16 weeks the puppies are limited as to where they can go as their little immune system is not fully functional until those shots are finished!
Lots of families are away this time of year, enjoying Pawaii or the Dogminican Republic! How nice, what beautiful places to visit. Remember if you are boarding your 4 legged family member somewhere to get them their bordatella vaccine before leaving them somewhere. You would hate to come home to a sick doggy.
Well that's our update for now, thanks for stopping by, have a "paw"sperous New Year!
Live, laugh, bark,

2010
December 22 ~ Well, only a few days left until the big day arrives! Santa Paws will soon be on his way!We wish you and your family a safe, peaceful and blessed Christmas and Holiday season. We remember family members that are not here to celebrate with us with the fondest of memories and we rejoice with the family and friends that are here. What a special time of year it is, we give thanks for our Saviour's birth. :)
After Christmas and between New Years we will begin puppy selection so it will be a hectic time for a few days helping each family pick exactly the right puppy for their family. There are so many things to take into consideration when picking your puppy, temperament, adult size, etc. We love spending this time with our families and showing off our puppies. :)
In the New Year we have some very special first time Moms coming up that we have been patiently waiting for. Now that they have turned 2 we are excited to see their new little ones. This year we have also retired some of our favourite adults, Mason, Bosco, Riley, Somarra, Kristi to name a few. We love that have all found such great homes and are enjoying a wonderful "family" retirement.
Again, Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you that have helped make this MollyDog year and other years so fabulous for our puppies and dogs!
Merry Christmas and have a "paw"sperous New Year!

December 2 ~ Our new puppies will be arriving very soon now. Our Zoe is about to have some gorgeous puppies with new Dad, Oskar. We are very excited to see this new batch of babies. Also we have a first time Mom about to give birth, our Kat ~ who is a daughter of our retired Keira. Any of you that have Keira puppies know how great they are and we expect no less from Kat, she is such a beautiful calm girl. She also has her Moms colouring, white and dark gold parti. Again, these puppies should be "pawsitivley" gorgeous. Here is a picture of Oskar, the dad of Zoe's puppies.

Beautiful Oskar
We also have news on our retired boy, Bosco. Apparently Bosco has become quite famous in his new home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His photo is adorning billboards and city buses all over the city promoting the cities policy of licensing pets. We thought we would share one of the billboard pictures.

Bosco and his new Pack Leader
MollyDogs are becoming quite famous with Bosco being used in the advertising campaign and our Jessie in the latest Dogs for Dummies series representing ShiChons, we are very proud of our dogs! :)
New puppy pics will be posted as the little ones arrive ~ check back soon!
Live, Laugh, Bark!

October 16 ~ Our weather has been beautiful for this time of year, so much sunshine and warm days. Dianne has been busy getting everyone groomed and all tidied up before the cold weather hits. Who wants to get groomed when its cold outside, not me that's for sure. Luckily all of us should have a nice, warm coat back by the time the really cold snowy stuff hits us. Brrrrr! I am not looking forward to that I can tell you! It's very cold on the paws.
Well, speaking of seasons, Rider Pride season is here again and we wanted to share this great picture of Max with two really great Rider fans all the ready for the game! Wow, that's what we call "fan"tastic!
Go Riders!

In other news we have been having lots of fun playing with puppies, bathing puppies, brushing puppies, weighing puppies, you get the drift. :) We should be getting some video this coming week of Somarra's and Kassidy's little ones as they are so much fun now. Pepsi's are not far behind! We have almost finished the puppy selection on these puppies and will soon be starting on Bridgit's. There are going to be lots of happy new MollyDog families! We are so grateful for all of the wonderful homes our puppies find. :)
Live, Laugh, Bark!

September ~ What a busy time it has been here lately. We have had some beautiful puppies born and this week we are looking forward to Willow and Bridgit's puppies. We are also getting ready to say goodbye to our Riley. Riley has found a wonderful home with the Strople family in Winnipeg ~ we are so excited for them and her. We will miss her playfulness and her big brown eyes. Riley has been a great addition to MollyDogs and our family and we are sad to see her leave. Our new site has been up and running for a few weeks now, there are still some "bugs" we are working on so be patient with us, soon it will be even more fabulous than it is already. Lol.
We have updated the photos on the Watch Us Grow page so you can check out Somarra's two little girls on their journey to becoming 8 weeks old, we love watching the puppies grow and change from such little beings into happy, playful, active little dogs! :)
Have a great day and remember:
If you have a tail, wag it!

July ~ Wow, is it hot out there! Finally it seems to have quit raining, we have blue skies and gorgeous sunshine, fabulous! I keep hearing something about "wet dog smell", not sure what is being implied but I'm sure it has to do with the other dogs, lol. We have just been hanging out enjoying summer. Pretty soon, me, Dianne and Kevin and Kevin's Dad will be jumping in the camper and heading to Ontario to see Dianne's parents and I get to see my sister Daisy. Looking forward to being back at the lake for sure.
We have no puppies over the rest of the summer and won't have any new ones until September. My daughter Somarra will be having her last set of puppies, Riley will be having some as well as a couple of the other girls throughout the month so it will be a busy fall with lots of little paws scampering around. So much fun! I love playing with the puppies. :)

Our Mason retired this week and has gone to live with a great family in Winnipeg, their son Timothy was walking Mason around the yard and playing with him, I think it will be a great home for Mason. . . and who knows maybe Mason will get to see his dad, Max who also retired to Winnipeg!
Well stay safe, have a great summer! And remember:
If you have a tail, wag it!

June 1 ~
So the beautiful picture above is Sand Lake, Ontario where Dianne just got back from a "furbulous" but quick vacation with her family, she was there for a family wedding so Kevin stayed home to watch me and the rest of the MollyDogs. What a gorgeous place to live. I wish I could have gone with her to see my sister Daisy and my old friend Sophie. Daisy lives with Dianne's Dad and Sophie lives with Dianne's sister. Apparently they were both very excited to see Dianne and she got a real tail wagging welcome. We were happy to see her when she got home too.
Busy, busy here as always. We are happy to report that our friend Clover found a great home with another MollyDog family, Kate and Andre, proud owners of Sonny who was happy to have a four legged friend join their pack. What a great home for Clover, we are so happy for her. How nice that families are willing to consider dogs that aren't puppies to add to their families. :)
Annie's puppies will be leaving us soon, boy did that time go by fast. We won't have any new puppies for quite a while, at least August until there are new little MollyDogs around and families have begun putting their names on our waiting list for those puppies already as well. We are very blessed to have such great families providing homes for our puppies.
Check out the puppy pages for new updated photos and we hope to have new videos added this week as well. Hope you are enjoying gorgeous summer weather wherever you live! :) And remember ~
If you have a tail, wag it!

May 3 ~ The last few days we have had lots of rain, even some snow on Sunday so we are hoping that all that moisture will kickstart our flowering trees and get some of our perennials coming up. It's so nice to see some green and smell all the fresh air after a spring rain storm. Now, it is hard to keep paws and tails clean, and not get covered in mud, especially the other day when I was chasing a gopher, it went down the hole and of course I had to go after it, so I got a little dirty. I kept hearing Dianne talking about wet dog smell but I'm sure she must have been talking about Gabby because I was just dirty, I'm sure I wasn't wet too. It is my job after all to keep the gophers out of the gardens.
On the puppy front here Kristi's puppies will be leaving us this week and Annie's families will have the fun job of picking their puppy. I'm not sure how they will decide, those puppies are soooo cute. Hanna's babies are also growing and getting bigger every day. One of Bridgit's puppies, Skittles was just here for a staycation, well, technically she isn't a puppy anymore, she's a big girl now! It was nice to see her again. We love having a chance to visit with our MollyDog families and see the puppies after they've left here.
I hope the weather is nice where you are and your four legged pal is getting out and enjoying the nice weather. Have a "pawsitively" great day and remember:
If you have a tail, wag it!

Our beautiful Jessie!
April 21 ~ Well today at MollyDogs we are celebrating!! Our beautiful little Jessie pictured above has been selected by the Dogs For Dummies, All In One, newest edition as THE dog to represent the Shichon breed. Wow! We are so thrilled, of course we knew that MollyDogs were the best all along but this certainly helps to confirm it!! :) We are so proud of Jessie and congratulate her owners Donna and Ian Roach for having such a beautiful dog and being such great MollyDog owners! So now everyone that has a MollyDog can have some fun saying that their dogs are the ones featured in the book! How great is that??
On the puppy front, aren't Annie's new babies gorgeous? We are just in love with them, as usual, but really for a first time Mom they are very pretty puppies and Annie is a wonderful mom to the babies. Our Hanna is about to have her very last batch of puppies, we can't believe that day has come already. Her puppies are so beautiful, we are looking forward to seeing the new little ones, they will be here soon. Hanna will be staying right here with us as we cannot bear to part with her.
Well, off and running, lots to do today, it's a gorgeous day outside and I have so many gophers out there to chase and keep out of the yard and the flower beds, busy, busy. :)
Have a great day! Pawsitively yours,

March 23 ~ Well it has been a while since I have been able to update my blog, it's so hard when you have to rely on someone else to do the typing for you, my paws just can't quite manage all of the keys. As you can see it's been busy spring here at MollyDogs, you know the old saying "it's been raining cats and dogs" well here it's been "pouring puppies!". But that's okay they are all so cute, we love each and every one. Riley's will be going home this weekend to join their families and Bridgit's soon after, that's the hardest part. The puppies are all so lucky in that they have each found exactly the perfect home and family for them. We know how excited they are for their new family members.
We have a new Mom that will be having her first batch of puppies at the beginning of April, her name is Annie and she is adorable. We are so excited to see her babies. We have also retired quite a few of our dogs this past while, namely, Bosco, Twister, Chip, these boys all have found great homes and are doing well. Occasionally we do have great dogs that are in the four - five year old range that we will be looking for great homes for so keep us in mind if you know someone that an adult dog would work well for.
Check out the puppies pages to watch our little ones grow and stayed tuned to the site as there are some big changes coming our way soon!!
Pawsitively yours,

Our recipe for a great and happy long life with your MollyDogs puppy! :)
January 26 ~ Pictured above is our Riley, she is one of my best friends, she is so playful. She loves to toss toys up in the air and chase after them. She also loves to roll around in the snow, as you can see. Her and my other friend Hanna do that a lot, they like to run with their face right down in the snow like little snow ploughs. Not me, I get too cold, I'm usually dancing at the door holding one paw up after another waiting to get back in the house. ANYWAYS, Riley is about to have her puppies any day now, they should be just beautiful little ones. We are very excited to see them.
On Friday Willow's puppies will be going to Dr. Tanya's for their very first Vet visit, shot and checkup. That will be a big day for them. The girls at the vet office always make such a fuss over our puppies ~ of course because they are such good little puppies! ;) Starting on Saturday Willow's puppies will begin going to their new homes and then on Monday it will be Pepsi's puppies turn to go to the vet and then they will begin going to their new homes as well. Boy, the time really went by fast!
We had a big two day blizzard here on the weekend, now the snow is piled so high, we are all having fun running up and down the big snow banks and jumping in all the fresh snow. Although it does make for some very wet dogs once inside! Oh well, it was lots of fun.
Pawsitively yours,

Meet Jordyn!
The newest member of the MollyDog family! :)
January 12 ~ Please welcome Jordyn to our family. Dianne and Kevin's little granddaughter arrived as a very special little package on Christmas morning! What a perfect blessing on Christmas morning. We think she is beautiful and love her to pieces already. Although the other dogs and I do agree she could have a little more hair! She's very "pink", lol. A BIG congratulations to Jordyn's Mommy and Daddy, Megan and Danny.
Check out Willow's and Pepsi's puppies, aren't they gorgeous, they are almost ready to leave us for their new homes. We have also found homes for some of our adult dogs, wonderful homes and we are so happy for them and so grateful for the families out there that are willing to consider adult dogs when looking for their next family member. We will have Somarra that will be retiring in late summer early fall so will be looking for a home for her as well then.
Up and coming moms at MollyDogs will be Riley, Bridgit and Somarra, they are all due to have puppies by the end of this month and in early February. Then our Zoey will be having her very first batch of puppies due right at Valentine's Day, how special. Please contact us if you are interested in a spring puppy. Remember, spring puppies are great because they are all done their shots by the time the kids are done school and will then be free to go anywhere your family wants to go, ball games, soccer games, parks, cottage, beach, all of those places are off limits until a puppy is finished their shots so getting one a little earlier than summer can be the best plan. Something to consider.
Thanks for stopping by, we wish you all the best in the New Year! It's sure off to a great start!
Pawsitively yours,

Danny and Josie getting ready for the baby!
