About MollyDogs...

My name is Dianne Mursell, my husband's name is Kevin. We have two children Danny and Patrick. Danny is married to our beautiful daughter in law, Megan and they have our gorgeous little granddaughter Jordyn. Our other son, Patrick, is a University student in Regina. We are breeders of Shichon dogs which are a cross between a Shih Tzu and a Bichon. They are also known as Zuchons, Bich Tzu’s, Teddy Bears and Daisy dogs. These wonderful, funny, smart little dogs have totally captivated me and my family from the moment we first brought home our little “Molly”. We began reading books and websites learning everything we could about these dogs. Looking at different training methods and, if we were going to breed, how would we do it in a responsible and conscientious manner. We believe we have done that. We believe we are a quality breeder that stands behind the health and temperament of our dogs.

Our goal is to produce above average healthy affectionate companions and pets meanwhile ensuring the health and well being of our adult dogs (who just happen to be our pets!). We believe we have accomplished that goal.

A MollyDog puppy comes with a FIVE (5) Year Health Guarantee, Crate Trained, Litter Trained, they will have their First Shot and Vet Checkup, dewormed and dew claws removed. They will also come home with a puppy information package, a receiving blanket (our famous "smelly" blanket) and toy, and as always, our unconditional "puppy support" for those questions you have once you get your puppy home. We are always available by phone or email as we want our puppies to have the easiest and best transition possible.

We encourage you to ask questions and enquire about any concerns you may have, after all, if you would like to adopt one of our MollyDog puppies we will have questions for you.

We encourage people to come and visit us, check us out; we can provide many references and welcome visitors anytime. We love to show off our dogs! Please note that in order to enter the kennel building you will be asked to use hand sanitizer and to put on protective shoe coverings which we provide. Even children. I'm sure you understand that this is a necessary step that we take to protect the health and well-being of our dogs and puppies.

If you are not sure that this is the dog for you then we strongly recommend that you come and visit us. That way we can show you the adult dogs, the size the puppy will become, the different coat types and how to care for them, etc. Let’s face it; ALL puppies are cute and can be easily talked into, however we prefer that our customers make an informed decision not an emotional one. Mom and Dad, come visit first, make sure this is the dog you want as an adult, and then bring the kids once the decision has been made! That way everyone gets off to a better start.

We are proud of the puppy support available to you once you bring your puppy home. We do this many different ways, if you live nearby I’ve been known to make “house calls!” we can also help you out via email, phone calls, whatever you need help with, nail trimming, how to set up best for puppy while you’re at work. It doesn’t matter. We want you to know that our relationship with you does not end as you head down the road with your puppy, it's probably just beginning!
